This time the sun is shining.

3515 The Church of the Intercession's domes look silver and the Transfiguration's domes do not.
3525 Further down the trail the angle is right for teh Transfiguration domes as well.
 

June 3 – Kizhi, Russia.  Today's visit was much like the last one but the sun was out and I got some pictures of the dome tiles looking very silver.  I remember lamenting the fact that the sun wasn't out and I couldn't capture that phenomenon last time.

 

I have one picture where the Church of the Intercession's aspen domes look very silver while the Transfiguration Church's domes do not because the sun is at the wrong angle for them.  An interesting phenomenon.

 

The second visit to these small rural places is proving to be much more relaxing than the first.
