More Pictures

1039 The 6 row iconostasis of the Transfiguration Cathedral in Uglich.  The bottom was lit much more brightly than the top.
1041 Mary Magdalene washing Jesus feet with the expensive perfume, nard, that caused Judas Iscariot to grumble about the cost and how many of the poor could be fed if it had been sold.
1042 Again the lighting was difficult.  On the bottom a miracle, I believe the reviving of Lazarus from the dead.  In the middle, the Transfiguration and on top Mark and John
1057  One more shot of the Church of Dimitry, this time from the ship as we sailed away.  Lighting can make all the difference.
